In accordance with the recent negotiated settlements, the 2010-11 licensed staff salary schedule reflects an increase in base pay of 0.6 percent to offset the loss of nine professional development hours. One of the unintended consequences of that change was a computer error that decreased total annual compensation by $29-$32 per full-time contracted employee, depending on the individual lane and step. The District will correct and revise the 2010-11 salary schedule and add back the $29-$32. The revised salary schedule will be ready in November.
The District’s Payroll Department has committed to retro-pay any amounts due on the November paycheck. This adjustment will reflect a gross increase of about $0.02 per hour (approximately $0-$11 total back pay for the 2010-11 contract year) depending on the individual’s lane and step. Any retro-pay amounts due will be included on the Nov. 24 paycheck. Retro-pay for time sheets previously submitted will be reviewed and paid at a later date.
