Several District teachers were honored at the Utah Association of Career and Technical Education (UACTE) Health Science Conference. All of the award recipients are from the Jordan Applied Technology Center (JATC). Congratulations to the teachers recognized, they include:

• Margie Ihler was presented with the UACTE Health Science Teacher of the Year award.
• Greg Maughan was presented with the Outstanding New Career and Technical Education Teacher in Health Science award.
• Carolyn Stevens was given the Outstanding Career and Technical Education Educator award.
• Julie Huffman was recognized at the National Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Conference in Anaheim, CA as the Outstanding Secondary HOSA Advisor. ★
