Proud Moment at Jr. Jag Preschool Graduation

They are just four years old and already graduates! Congratulations to the 2012 Jr. Jag preschool class of West Jordan High. This year 60 children enrolled in the unique preschool and walked away proud, with a diploma in hand on graduation night. Jr. Jag is taught by volunteer high school students. Those student teachers have to develop lesson plans to teach the young tots to read stories and do simple math and science. They even let the children experience what it’s like on a farm with a small petting zoo. The Jr. Jags attend school twice a week for two and one-half hours a day. They have a carnival on the last day. However, graduation is the big goal that everyone works toward all year. We are proud of the Jr. Jag graduates and the high school students for all they accomplish in this wonderful program.

More Get Well Wishes for 7-Habits Author

They embrace living the 7-Habits of The Leader in Me. That’s why some students at Falcon Ridge Elementary wanted to write get well messages for Stephen Covey. The 7-Habits author was seriously injured in a bike riding accident. Covey is still hospitalized and on the long road to recovery. The students hope their letters of support will speed that recovery. Take a look.
