The District administration is recommending, for final Board approval, the following boundaries for the new elementary school located in the Daybreak development. Recommended boundary adjustments also affect Monte Vista Elementary and Rose Creek Elementary. The Board of Education will vote on the proposal at its Dec. 7 meeting. 

Recommendations:

DAYBREAK : (YRE) Begin at 11000 S. and Bangerter Hwy.; south along Bangerter Hwy. from 11000 S. (west side) to 12200 S. (north side, end of the current subdivisions, Copper Creek, Park Haven, and Swenson Farms; west along 12200 S. to 5400 W. (north side); north along 5400 W. (east side) to 11800 S.; west along 11800 S. (north side) to west county district line; north along west county district line to 11000 S.; east along 11000 S. (south side).

MONTE VISTA : (YRE) Begin at the Bangerter Hwy. (east side) and 10400 S.; east along 10400 S. (south side) to 1700 W.; south along 1700 W. (west side) to 11800 S. (north side, South Jordan/Riverton City line); west along 11800 S. (north side) to Bangerter Hwy. (east side); north along Bangerter Hwy. (east side) to 10400 S.

ROSE CREEK : (YRE) Begin at 12200 S. (no road, current end of Copper Creek, Park Haven, Swenson Farms subdivisions) and Bangerter Hwy.; west along 12200 S. (south side) to 5400 W. (east side); southeast to approximately 5250 W. and Herriman Hwy. (east side); southwest to 5400 W. and 13400 S. (east side); east along 13400 S. (north side) to the Utah Lake Distributing Canal (west side); north along the Utah Lake Distributing Canal (west side) to 12200 S.; east along 12200 S. (north side) to Utah Salt Lake Canal (west side); north along the Utah Salt Lake Canal (west side) to 11800 S.; west along 11800 S. (south side) to Bangerter Hwy. (east side); south along Bangerter Hwy. (east side) to 12200 S.
