Jordan boasts the nation’s 5th-highest graduation rate among large school districts. At less than 6 percent, Jordan’s administration costs are among the lowest in the nation. Jordan’s enrollment, up about 7 percent since 2003, is expected to grow by 24,000 students over the next decade. Jordan is the 8th-largest employerin Utah with more than 10,000 full- and part-time employees. Jordan serves up nearly 9 million nutritious breakfasts and lunches per year. More than 5,500 students graduated from Jordan’s 10 high schools in 2006, earning $20 million in scholarships. |
