Students

     Students are our driving force. From young child to young adult, each pupil brings a unique challenge, and reward, as they enhance our lives by allowing us the opportunity to enrich their lives.

     We feel like proud parents when we highlight the achievements of Jordan District students:
          • Students scored at or above the state and national averages on the Stanford Achievement Test, the American College Test, and Advanced Placement exams;
          • Our students and schools received numerous local, state and national awards and honors;
          • Graduating seniors were awarded more than $16.6 million in academic and athletic scholarships;
          • The District awarded 4,909 high school diplomas in 2002, representing a 92 percent graduation rate for the 2001 senior class. The Manhattan Institute for Policy Research ranks Jordan District’s graduation rate fifth in the nation among large school districts.
