must be paid by check or money order. Cash will not be accepted.
Refunds of registration fees will not be approved after the
first class begins. If you must cancel, contact the Staff
Development Department
(567-8319) prior to the class to request a refund. For cancelled
or dropped classes, cash refunds will be available for amounts
up to and including $20.00. For amounts exceeding $25.00,
participants will receive a check within two weeks of the
cancellation or drop date. Refunds must be requested before
the end of the current quarter.
GUIDELINES
FOR GRANTING CREDIT AND LICENSURE POINTS
The following applies to all lane change credits
ALL
CREDIT IS AWARDED ON THE SEMESTER SYSTEM: Fourteen classroom
hours equal one semester credit. All classes require 100%
attendance, participation at all sessions, and completion
of a curriculum assessment. Educators on contract may not
earn inservice / lane change credits for participation during
their contract time.
All
courses in the catalog are USOE approved inservices which
qualify for USOE LICENSE RENEW AL POINTS and JSD Lane Change
Credit. When the Human Resources Department sends written
notification of your inservice credit, verify credits and
make a copy for your own Licensure file. Please check your
inservice lists regularly because the USOE Office closes the
class file after one (l)year and it is impossible to add credits
after a class has been closed.
For
questions about the Utah Educator License Renewal Program,
call the USOE office at 538- 7741 or visit their Web site:
www.usoe.k12.ut.us/cert
All
classes will have an instructional focus designated by a reference
number to the goals of The Jordan School District
