We are pleased to present the 2009-10 Jordan School District Annual Report. After 105 years, this report reflects the first year of the realigned Jordan School District representing the patrons in the southwest corner of Salt Lake County including Bluffdale, Copperton, Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan, and West Jordan.
In 2007, voters residing east of the Jordan River in the cities of Alta, Cottonwood Heights, Draper, Midvale, Sandy, and White City voted to split from Jordan School District and form their own district. The division of Jordan School District officially took place at the beginning of the 2009-10 school year on July 1, 2009.
