ABOUT PERUVIAN PARK ELEMENTARY

Peruvian Park is located near the Peruvian Gulch in Sandy City’s Willow Creek area. Peruvian Park Elementary is a community of learners.  We value the uniqueness of each individual and work together to provide a nurturing environment that focuses on student learning.

  • Peruvian Park is one of seven Jordan School District ALPS magnet schools.
  • School begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 2:55 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  School begins on Friday at 8:20a.m. and ends at 1:15p.m. to allow for teacher planning time.
  • Peruvian Park operates on a traditional school calendar.
  • A supportive PTA , School Community Council, and volunteers support and enhance student learning at Peruvian Park.
  • Special Education programs are available for students who need assistance in academics, speech, and guidance.
  • Many students participate in extra-curricular activities including district Gifted and Talented programs, and fine arts activities.
