ABOUT CRESCENT VIEW
Crescent View Middle School opened its doors to students for the first time in 1987. Located in the southern part of Sandy City, the school serves students from Draper City and the area traditionally known as Crescent. The Crescent View staff, students, and parents work together to create a warm, positive atmosphere for learning where students have many opportunities for exploration and each individual can develop academically, socially and emotionally. School goals are to improve students’ literacy and math skills, increase technology integration into the curriculum, provide character education to students and improve the sense of community both within the school and with parents and patrons outside the school. We also aim to increase cross-curricular and cross-ability collaboration and to maintain a high level of school safety. We believe that by exploring and implementing middle school philosophy and reform, we will help students gain a positive self-concept, become responsible citizens, learn the skills taught in core subjects, and move toward their full potential.
