Jordan Valley School is a center-based school located in Midvale, Utah and in the Jordan School District.  Our students come from throughout the entire school district and are bussed to and from school each day.  Current enrollment includes 262 school age children from ages 5-22.  All of our students have severe multiple disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders, communication impairments, genetic disorders and syndromes, deaf–blindness and students who are extremely medically fragile.

The mission of Jordan Valley School is to provide all students an appropriate and individualized educational program.  Our school is staffed with certified special education teachers, certified paraeducators, classroom teaching assistants, occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants, physical therapists, speech and language therapists, adapted P.E. teachers, a music therapist, and nurses.  Our school programs include large and small group instruction, music, swimming, P.E., vocational training, home living and recess.  All of our students access the community for both generalization training and job experiences.

Parents of students at Jordan Valley School have access to a monthly newsletter filled with school news as well as health and therapy tips and a monthly Family Network meeting (the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.) that provides an informational presentation as well as an opportunity to socialize with other parents.

The goal of every staff member at Jordan Valley School is to improve the quality of life for our kids and their families.
